La Mesa Skate Park Open

The La Mesa Skate Park in La Mesita Park, located at 8855 Dallas Street, reopened as a free, unsupervised skate park for skateboarders and in-line skating on August 11. The unlighted skate park is open every day from dawn to dusk. A full set of rules is posted at the park.
Modifications to the park include redesigning the park to be suitable as an unsupervised park. The revamped skate park includes two new ramps, new fencing, benches, trash cans, and signage. For more information, call La Mesa Community Services at 619.667.1300.
