New this year for all ages - La Mesa's Urban Walking Trails!  Free walks - follow the map for beginning to advanced levels walks.

Kids Care Fest
Save this Date - September 25, 2010

Kids Care Fest is held annually in September. Kids Care Fest is an interactive day for children and their families. Health screenings, hands-on art and other fun activities, wellness information, safety information, Police Department and Fire Department displays and demonstrations. FREE!

We're accepting applications for non-profit booths at the fest now. Submit your application no later than September 1. For more information, call the La Mesa Community Center at 619.667.1300.

Intergenerational Games
Save this Date - October 14, 2010

Intergenerational Games will be held on October 14th at La Mesa Middle School, 4200 Parks Avenue in La Mesa. This annual community event is for active adults age 50+ and students ages 8 to 12 years. Have some fun and play the East County Intergenerational Games in La Mesa! Activities are non-competitive, fun and simple! FREE!

La Mesa Flag Day Parade was held on Saturday, June 5, 2010. 

La Mesa Flag Day Parade - A Salute to Old Glory . . . this patriotic event is an annual tradition. Festivities began on June 5 at 9:00 a.m. with our pre-parade concerts. The parade started at 10:00 a.m., traveling along La Mesa Boulevard from Memorial Drive, through the downtown Village, to City Hall.
