“Sundays at Six” Summer Concerts
“Sundays at Six” Summer concerts - A series of free concerts held in the beautiful outdoor amphitheatre at Harry Griffen Park on Sundays during June and July. Concerts start at 6:00 pm.
The La Mesa Arts Alliance and its sponsor the La Mesa Park and Recreation Foundation want to thank the Boys and Girls Clubs of East County Foundation and the rest of the 2013 Summer “Free Family Fun” sponsors for this year's presentation.
This year's concert line-up:
- June 9 - The Destroyers (Navy Band Southwest Rock)
- June 16 - Tinku (Latin Folk Music)
- June 23 - San Diego Concert Band
- June 30 - Coolish (Acoustic Rock)
- July 14 - Jazz West (Jazz Music)
- July 21 - Sonic Epidemic (70's Rock)

Movie in the Park
Families can relax under the stars and enjoy a free family movie in
La Mesita Park. Experience a high definition Blu-Ray projection system which features an inflatable twenty-six foot wide screen and amplified sound. Pre-show entertainment features performances by students from La Mesa Community Services classes. This year's presentation is the movie "Wreck-It Ralph".
