Activities at the La Mesa Adult Enrichment Center (AEC) include a broad range of individual and group services and activities for active mature adults, as well as access to many other community resources and agencies serving senior citizens. The Rides4Neighbors  volunteer driver transportation program is now in full swing. Call 619.464.0109 for information about becoming a Rides4Neighbors volunteer or to schedule a ride.

Activities and services include educational, recreational, social and cultural events, daily lunch program, day and extended day trips, legal services, information and referral, health screenings, exercise and dance. Currently scheduled activities can be found in the AEC's monthly bulletin. City staff at the Adult Enrichment Center also oversees La Mesa's volunteer program which recruits and helps train volunteers for many different positions throughout all Departments of the City.
