  • La Mesa is “the Jewel of the Hills,” and its streets are no exception. If you’re walking through the heart of La Mesa, the Village, you’ll find art around every corner with the Walking Art Trail. Brought to you in-part by the La Mesa Arts Alliance (LMAA), the Walking Art Trail is a beautification project where local artists hand-painted utility boxes throughout the Village. Now these weathered boxes are communal works of art. The walk stretches for 2 miles showcasing 22 works of art.
