NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, the La Mesa Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located in the La Mesa City Hall, 8130 Allison Avenue, La Mesa, California to consider:

Tentative Tract Map TTM 14-01 (Flying Dog Trust) – Consideration of a Tentative Tract Map TTM 14-01 (Flying Dog Trust) for a 10-lot single-family residential subdivision at American Avenue and Riviera Drive located in the R1S-NP2 (Suburban Residential / Neighborhood Plan Overlay No. 2) zone. The subject property is developed with a single family residence at 3860 American Avenue. Assessor Parcel Numbers: 499-171-26-00, 499-171-28-00, 499-171-34-00, 499-191-37-00

An initial study in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) has been prepared to determine whether the project may have a significant adverse effect on the environment. There is no substantial evidence that the project will have a significant adverse effect on the environment. A Negative Declaration has therefore been prepared and can be adopted to allow the subject project.

The draft Negative Declaration and Initial Study may be reviewed or purchased for the cost of reproduction at the Community Development Department at City Hall. Any challenges to this determination may be presented in writing prior to, or in oral testimony at, the public hearing. All testimony will be considered prior to a final determination being made. The public review period starts on September 15, 2016 and ends on October 5, 2016. The Draft Negative Declaration, Initial Study, and supporting documents may be reviewed, or purchased for the cost of reproduction, at City Hall, 8130 Allison Avenue, La Mesa, CA 91942. The project is not a designated hazardous waste facility, hazardous waste property or hazardous waste disposal site as specified under Section 65962.5 of the Government Code.

Hearing assisted devices are available for the hearing impaired. A City staff member is available to provide these devices upon entry to City Council meetings, commission meetings or public hearings held in the City Council Chambers. Advance notification will ensure compatibility with City equipment and allow meeting presentations to progress smoothly and in a consistent and equitable manner.
